Our client, Legacie Developments, got in touch with us to assist with the construction of a new high-rise residential building in Liverpool city centre. To help with the fit-out of new electrical installations, we were asked to drill perfect holes through the reinforced concrete above the doorways on site.
Diamond drilling is a technique that involves the use of diamond-tipped drill bits to create precise holes in various tough materials, including concrete. In this particular project, our task was to core drill holes of 150mm x 300mm through reinforced concrete above doorways, to create space for new electrical fittings. Fortunately, our team of experienced and skilled diamond drillers were up to the challenge. We carefully planned out each drilling location, taking into account the building's design and structural considerations.
