We were recently asked to carry out specialist drilling work at Nannerch Hall Farm in Wales. The job involved creating openings for extractor fans at a high level through a 300mm reinforced concrete wall lined with polystyrene insulation.

We were recently called to Bayswater, West London, by Pembridge Developments to carry out specialist cutting and drilling work on their latest project. The task involved extending six existing staircase openings through reinforced concrete slabs, ensuring precise finishes to accommodate the new design.

We were recently called to Derby by Unbrako Precast Concrete to assist with a specialist job on one of their manufacturing sites. The task was to core a series of 152mm diameter holes directly over pre-cast 110mm holes, allowing for cables to be installed once the units were complete.

We were recently asked by Zenith Flooring to carry out chasing work for electrical floorboxes at a site in Milton Keynes. The original plan was to complete 60 metres of chasing and 17 floorboxes. However, once on site, the project scope expanded significantly, with us cutting around 450m of chasing and 18 floorboxes in total.

A new project with Icon Construction in Wrexham presented us with a specific and intricate challenge: creating an opening for a new lift shaft. The task was not just about cutting a hole in a concrete slab, but about doing so with a high degree of precision and control. 

When Tilbury Douglas Construction needed a precise opening for a cable tray at Aintree Hospital, they turned to us at DP Diamond Drilling for a solution that was both effective and considerate of the sensitive hospital environment. The project presented some specific challenges, particularly with the requirement for a dry drilling method and the surprising density of the wall’s internal structure. We were able to deliver a successful outcome using our specialised equipment and controlled techniques.
