DP Diamond Drilling was contacted to carry out test core drilling at a former DPD distribution centre in March. The purpose of this job was to assess the strength and integrity of the existing floor. Our client needed test cores to be extracted so that they could be taken to Doncaster for structural analysis. Throughout this project, our experienced team provided a professional and efficient service, completing the job with minimal disruption, in line with our commitment to safety and precision.
To achieve the desired cores, we used our reliable handheld core drill powered by a generator, which was an ideal setup for this site. The job involved extracting multiple core samples from various locations within the floor slab. Each core was carefully drilled using our wet vac to manage slurry and debris as we worked.
